The launch of the academic day activities at the University of Kasdi-Merbah Ouargla, on “the new powers of the Constitutional Court in light of the constitutional amendment of November 1, 2020.”

 

On the morning of Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in the Grand Lecture Hall of the University Directorate, the activities of the academic day were launched on “The new competencies of the Constitutional Court in light of the constitutional amendment of November 1, 2020” under the supervision of Mr. Omar Belhaj, President of the Constitutional Court, in partnership with the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla and the District Council of Ouargla, in the presence of the local authorities represented by the governor of the state of Ouargla and the military and security authorities in the state, in addition to the director of the University of Ouargla, Professor Mohamed Al-Taher Hulilat, the Secretary-General of the university, university administrators and specialized professors from various universities in the country.

This study day aims to shed light on the amendments that affected the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court in light of the recent constitutional amendment, and to discuss their importance in strengthening the state of law and institutions in Algeria.
The study day includes many lectures presented by an elite group of legal and constitutional experts from the University of Ouargla and other universities.
On the sidelines of the school day’s activities, it was announced that a new postage stamp was issued as part of the competition for the best artistic painting on the constitution and citizenship, won by the student Moncef Ben Zarqoun at Al Mujahid Daghmoush Ali Middle School in the state of Ouargla. Where he was honored on the occasion.
